Say if most of her blood family were no longer emotionally invested in her and some of the members treated her poorly.Would you take her seriously, or see her as girlfriend material if she'd experienced a lot of hardship and went through many painful life experinces?Sad to say, but some people go through a lot of trouble and thats how it is. Some people are multimillionaires, others are paupers on the street and others are dieing with terminal illnesses, so I guess that everyone has their own unique life experinces. I just wanted to ask the veiwers, from a mans point, would it be off putting if a woman didn't have much family or friends? Reply to this Question Share |

I think it depends on how these circumstances have affected you. If you're outgoing, confident and happy, it will make little difference. However if you're moody, depressed and complain a lot, this would be a turn-off.

Just be yourself and attract a guy who appreciates you for who you are.
It seems to me that an answr to this question won't help you live your life any better.
So, to answer your question: a woman without friends and family is a red flag for me, for sure, but not a deal breaker. However, I'd be more weary.
