writes: I'm meeting this guy that I met on the internet this weekend. We're having lunch in NYC and he's very excited. I'm excited also. The problem is, he thinks I'm really pretty. From the few (edited) pictures I've sent him, he seems to think that I'm this beautiful woman, and in reality, I'm not. I'm afraid he's going to think I'm really fat and ugly and be disappointed when he meets me. What should I do??

I have the exact same problem as you...now...in June! I'm meeting him in NYC also (eerie)I really like this guy and i've sent him a truckload of pics (not edited ones) and he likes me but I'm worried about the same issues as you. Wish me luck!

 As long as the images wern't heavily edited, I don't think you have a problem. I'm sure he likes you for more than just the fact that he thinks your pretty too if he wants to meet you! I'm sure it will be fine, and if he does turn out not liking the way you look, then he's not worth your time.

Relax!
I'm sure this guy is going to think your great, he means it when he says your pretty and he's got to know you pretty well so obviously he likes you enough to meet right.
He won't see any of the things that you think he will and he is going to be thinking and feeling just the same as you are. The first meeting with anyone is always nerve wrecking. Your going for lunch so keep to a public place and be safe, and enjoy your day togther it could be the the start of something wonderful and if you don't try you will never know! I'm sure after this weekend you will wonder what you were ever worried about!
