I don't want to pop it but I'm going to see my boyfriend tomorrow and I don't want to have a zit on my lip because I'm afraid he won't want to kiss me. So, is there any kind of medication that I could put on it? Or anything I can do to make it go away faster? Reply to this Question Share |

I still suggest sticking to the simple stuff, anything that contains salicylic acid can cause drying out, inflammation and other side effects, which you don't want this close to a date.
On the other hand it is a fantastic drug also know as Aspirin which is made from willow bark! But as with all drugs, either ask a doctor or pharmacist first and if you are using a cream try some on an area of skin that can't be seen first just to make sure you don't have a reaction.
I believe there is now a caution against drugs containing salicylic acid for use on under 14 year olds, Aspirin has been banned form children for years, and this year the British drug people(NICE) Banned Bonjela as it contains this chemical, so be careful what you use.

or if you can bear it some cheap perfume-the alcohol in it will dry out your pimple super quick

I know when I had bad acne in my younger years the Dr. prescribed Tetracycline, but I don't know if they do that anymore. You'll have to cover it up because your deadline is to short.

Medication won't really work, but try a steam bath, that will open your pores and draw the puss out without casing scaring.
