A female reader, candy00s United Kingdom +, writes (1 June 2007):

candy00s agony auntHe knows you know about the txting? It could be that he thinks of this girl he met on holiday as nothing more than a friend and he might not realise he is making you feel this way by txting.

Talk to him about it, tell him how you feel and how you need him to reassure you that she is just a mate and you are the one he loves and wants to be with.

I dont think he is doing this to be hurtful, he probably doesnt realise you have a problem with it?

Hope this might help u?

A female reader, DrPsych United Kingdom +, writes (1 June 2007):

DrPsych agony auntI think he is being really disrespectful to you if he is planning to meet up with a holiday romance while dating you. It must make you feel very bad but you can tell him how you feel and ask him to stop contacting her. Maybe he does love you and he is just thinking of friendship with the other girl but on face value it doesnt seem like that and you have a right to be concerned. You seem to doubt his love and you should try to get to the bottom of what is really going on between him and the girl.
