writes: ok so ill keep this short to avoid boredum amongst whoevers reading this. i have this male friend who i have always been really close to. we met a few years ago on my first day of high school and every since we have always had a thing.about a year ago i fnally agreed to go out with him and was so happy, only for him to cheat on me a couple of days later! :( eventually we made up and became friends but something always happens and we have the worst arguements all the time!It always ends up with us shouting at eachother and me in tears but i cant let go.i have tried telling him we cant be friends because its too hard, and he got really angry and had a huge go at me. and well.. it didnt go down well.I just feel like we are caught in this cycle that i cant get out of. sorry it didnt turn out to be so short after all. haha.any advice?thanks :) Reply to this Question Share |

The key here is that you end up shouting at each other and you end up in tears, tears because it hurts you.
You are right, you can't be friends, because he betrayed you so easily and quickly.
Protect yourself, take care of yourself, and never forget that people do horrible selfish things because of their own issues, not because of you.
