I am a 15 year old boy who has problems making friends, see when i went to high school all I did was hang around one of my old friends from pre-school and to get those friends all that I really did was just followed them around until they accepted me as "one of the gang" but I think that I have a problem making friends because i am not confident enough to make new friends so can you please tell me how to be more confident with new people?

im not very confident myself and have always found it hard to make new friends, but since i started at my local youth theatre 3 years ago and started cheerleading last year my confidence has gone way up.

well there is no way u can wave a wand and get confidence. just try talking to som1. if u bump into them capitalise by saying oh its ok, introduce urself etc? be nice to people, but dont let them walk ova u. make them know hu u r, and i am sure ull do fine.
