Tanning beds are not safe in general they can lead to skin cancer and can have some defects on ur baby. Eating alot of food during pregnancy is perfectly normal. Getting sick n the heat is very common among pregnant women be sure to drink lots of water and drinks with enzymes in them. Ur stomach usually hardens up between the end of ur 2nd trimester and the beginning of ur 3rd trimester. Its normal for ur breast to hurt during pregnancy. Some womens breast hurt all the time and for others they hurt once in a while. Sharp pains in ur stomach is normal but if they get severely painful call ur dr ASAP. Drink plenty of fluids and eat healthy follow the nutrient pyramid and DONT DRINK or DO ANY ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES if you are a smoker quitting is the best answer but some women dont and in that case try to cut back as much as possible. Get plenty of rest and take ur prenatal vitamins and exercise as much as you can and try to keep ur stress level down. Get the book what to expect when you're expecting

Is it normal if you get sick in the heat...? Yes, many pregnant women are sick when their bodies are stressed. Heat is a form of stress. It could be an indication that you are not drinking enough water -- you body needs a lot more fluids. You do need to ask a doctor about this one as reading the other questions as well it seems to me that your body is perhaps too easily stressed at this time and that should be investigated.
Is it normal to eat a lot while pregnant? Yes. The common phrase is "eating for two".
Is it normal to get sharp pains in your stomach while pregnant? Yes, but in episodes not continually.
Is it normal if your whole stomach is hard while pregnant? You haven't said how many weeks pregnant you are. It could well be Braxton-Hicks contractions. Having them early is common but may also be a sign that you body is under too much environmental stress.
Is it normal if your boobs hurt all the time while pregnant? They commonly hurt in episodes of a few weeks. Some people experience tenderness for the entire pregnancy. Again, this one needs medical examination, since the line between usual and excessive can't be determined over the Internet.
Can you give me some pregnancy tips on a healthy pregnancy? You should buy (or ask a friend to buy as a early baby shower present) "What to expect when you are expecting". It answers a lot of your questions above. It is very good at defining the rage of normal and when you should seek further advice. The downside of the book is that it is very prescriptive, and you should also buy Kaz Cooke's "Up the duff" as another much more reassuring view.

you really should do some research on this matter. tips alone will not help.
go the the book store or library.. with the internet, find some good baby / pregnancy websites where they discuss what is good for the baby.

I honestly have no clue however i wouldn't advice it personally, kind of think of baby like an egg ... gets to hot and may boil lol I'm sure as a one off it would be fine but if you want to tan whilst pregnant, ask the people who run the tanning place whether it is safe to do so or ask your doctor. Is it normal if you get sick in the heat even if your only in the heat for like 5mins while pregnant?Do you mean regular heat or tanning heat? If you feel sick at any time and you think its because of the heat, try to remove yourself from the heat to cool down. Drink plenty of H20 and loosen clothing, get into shade etcIs it normal to eat a lot while pregnant?Personally up until the last month of my pregnancies, i've always eaten normal ... not added much to my plate at all. However in the last month i eat like a little piggy, perhaps unconsciously i'm thinking "ahhh, last chance to use excuse of eatting for two, bring on the pudding" lolIs it normal to get sharp pains in your stomach while pregnant?depends how far along you are and definations of sharp pain ... cramps are very common early on. But any pain at all that you are unsure of i would go to your doctor/widwide ASAP.Is it normal if your whole stomach is hard while pregnant?towards the end yeah, currently my belly feels like a skin like rock lolIs it normal if your boobs hurt all the time while pregnant? All the time? Again something i would address with doctoure/midwife. But every pregnancy is different and what is normal for you may be abnormal for someone else. Can you give me some pregnancy tips on a healthy pregnancy?trying to eat healthy - eg. more fruit and vegexercise - good for you in general :)relax - don't push yourself too hard and slow down if you do.visit midwife and doctors - if unsure they can reassure you :)Sleep - take naps when you need it :)Hope i helped :) Good luck if pregnant and if just looking for general information, how we informed :)

Some studies suggest there may be a possible link between exposure to UV rays and mums-to-be not having enough folic acid in their bodies. This is because folic acid can be broken down by strong sunlight. In the first few weeks of pregnancy, high levels of folic acid can help to protect your baby from developing defects of the spinal column and brain (neural tube defects), such as spina bifida. So as a precaution, try to avoid intense or prolonged exposure to UV light around the time you conceive and in early pregnancy. It would also be wise to take a folic acid supplement. After the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, all your baby's major organs have been formed and any risks are reduced. ''So in short, probably not as it reduces the amount of folic acid you have that protects your baby from spinal problems . Anyways, even without being pregnant sunbeds are extremely dangerous and you have 3 times a greater risk of getting melanoma than the average person, and skin cancer is not something that you can get rid of, it is something that always comes back unlike some of the other cancers in which you can totally be 'clear ' of them. So don't use it! Don't be so vain as to damage yourself and your child
