We both knew that we couldnt be together right now because we both have commitments at home but we both want each other and hope to be together in the future. So i came home and we keep in contact everyday. We agreed to be friends but the amount of contact makes it feel more than that. Its been over a month since i've seen him and its still intense but now another nice, local guy has taken interest in me. If i had to choose between the two i would go for my summer romance but there is just no way that is going to happen right now, and i dont even know if it def will in the future! So my questions are this.... firstly should i be talking to this guy about exactly what he wants from me and where exactly we stand? (summer romance) and if so how do i go about that? And should i even be giving this local guy a chance if i have feelings for someone else? I half feel like, that is settling for second best and half feel like i need to give him a chance because all my past relationships have been long distance and sort of the same. Maybe i need to try something new.... I just really dont know what to do!! please help me!

Go for the local guy. Things will workout better. Tell the long distance guy the whole truth and ask to remain friends.

hi
even thou the choice is mainly your,i have found over the years that holiday romances do not work or last for long, i think if you like this new guy in the UK, then i would go for him, try it out if it all works out OK, then you have nothing to worry about, but if i does not then there must be a good few English blokes you can charm. good luck
