writes:I had sex last week twice with a guy I am seeing. We used condoms apart from when we done oral. This week I am in a lot of pain down below I think it's probably thrush but I am a bit worried that I have caught an sti through oral sex though I don't know if that area would only affect the lips and not vagina area. As I said its just my lady parts that are in a lot off pain and discharge. Please advice can't find anyhing on the net.

Herpes can be transmitted from the mouth to the genital area, though I think that he would have to have an active cold sore to have transmitted it. And I think you'd have noticed that. I hope this isn't the case for you. I'd advise going to your GP or to a sexual health walk in centre if you don't want to see your own doctor.

 It could be just a urinary tract infection or something like that. i would go to your dr, they will know right away what it is. Worse case scenario it could be genital herpes , but dont panic! go to your dr and they'll tell you.

 It could be you are allergic to that kind of condom. Condoms are not 100% save. You might have got something when he went down on you. You should get it checked out at the clinic.
