Lacking stamina in bed?

How long should a girl be able to go for before she gets tired during sex? This is nothing to do with coming, but more like physical exhaustion. I can go on top, but I can only go for a few minutes before I'm exhausted. My boyfriend can go for ten times what I can, and much harder and faster too. What can I do to improve? I guess although I'm thin, I'm also not very fit or muscley. We have sex about 1-5 times a week. I'm 19. Is it normal for girls to be this lacking in stamina? I feel a bit rubbish in bed... :( Help! Ta x

Hi,

I think that you are looking at this from the wrong angle.

If you are having SEX..ie like a porn star, then yes its a problem.

If you are making love then its not about the performance, however you should try to get fit for the sake of yr health...when you are everything else will have an amazing spin off!! ;)

person12345 agony auntMaybe you're making the work harder for yourself somehow in your positioning? It looks good when you prop yourself up there not using your hands, only using your legs, but I don't think I personally could go more than 2 minutes doing that. Try leaning over him and propping yourself up with your arms to let them do a little of the work. The least tiring, and I think more intimate feeling girl on top position in basically reverse missionary. Where you get on up there, then straighten your legs behind you and straighten your upper body. It's basically you on top missionary. Very untiring, very close feeling, and can hit your clitoris in an oh-so-satisfying way. Also if you stick with normal girl on top, have him grab your butt or hips and help out with his arms. Makes it easier on you plus it can add a great sensation for both of you.

On the other hand though, if you practice, everything is achievable! Nothing is impossible after all, practice makes the master! ^_~

aunt honesty agony auntThere is no normal amount of time for a girl or a mans stamina, but if you want to last longer gettin fit will help alot, maybe go out jogging and going to the gym you will soon be fitter in no time.

It can be normal, no worries ;) Try letting him take control for awhile if it makes you feel better. I was terrible for a long time too when it came to topping and exhaustion... But you get used to it as time goes on. You build stamina naturally. Men who can last a long time typically either have a lot of experience or have made an effort to be able to do so.

Try working out your muscles in the appropriate areas, and maybe going for a run a couple times a week to improve stamina. Just don't worry about it or you will make it worse- be confident in your ability to learn and adapt. Men can sense insecurity in bed and it is a turn off. Be confident. Even if you can only do it for awhile at first, give it your all and you will improve more and more.

I've been there, I know. ;) Trust me, just keep giving it your all and it comes naturally.

I think it depends on fitness and age. I would expect a woamn of your age to last more than that, but you may wear out fast for other reasons...like is your guy big (and I dont just mean his penis)? Moving all over a large guy might wear you out faster. How are you moving whn on top? Some women rock back and forth, some bounce their pelvis up and down. The latter seems to expend less energy. Do you squat or not? Squatting uses more energy. get it?

To improve, you will need to do more cardio exercise. Running or cycling are ideal. So is more sex ;)
