writes:I wish last night never happened, any advice or help?!I am in lower six (second last year or high school) and on Saturday night I went to a house party and got really drunk, I ended up making out with a guy that I have no feelings for at all and I don't find him attractive at all. I feel really bad about it because he is saying he loves me even though he dosnt know me that well, he just thinks he does because I was talking a load of rubbish when I was drunk but I have now told him I don't have feelings for him. But I'm worried because everyone else saw, although loads of other people were getting off, they at least kind of liked the person they were kissing or at least thought they were good looking. I didn't like this guy at all and this boy I really like was possibly there but I can't remember I was too drunk. I just feel really disgusting and guilty, why do I do stuff like this? What is wrong with me?

 Shit happens honey. But.... learn from it. If you feel like you LACK restraint and self control when drinking, minimize the intake of alcohol or DON'T drink at all.
As for snogging some random dude, well let it go and remember THAT isn't you.
Every action has consequences. You are RESPONSIBLE for your actions drunk or not.

reader, anonymous, writes (4 April 2012): I had to reply to this because my friend does this all the time and she is getting on for 40! Don't beat yourself up about it. There's nothing wrong with you at all, you are still young and you are still learning! If its the drink giving you beer goggles then try to pace yourself when you go out. Make sure you have at least one good friend with you who can tap you on the shoulder and tell you that the face that you are eating might not look so appetising in the cold light of day. Finally tell the mistake you made to take a hike. Even if you were stone cold sober and met at a religious convention, Its way to early to be talking about love, you only had a kiss! Good luck.
