This guy probably does like you, but is trying to still give the both of you some space. I know when I was dating my husband in the beginning of our relationship, he would go several days without talking to me (and me with him). That made it more special the next time we got together.
Eventually you two might start seeing more of each other and talking more as the relationship gets more serious. Until then, just relax, take it slowly, and have fun.
If you're truly worried about it, you could give it a bit of time and if he's still not contacting you as much as you would like, you can talk to him about your relationship. See what he thinks about it and where he thinks it might be going. Just a light conversation - anything that sounds too "needy" might scare him away, you know?
