writes:Hello,My bf and I have been together for 3 years. We don't live together. Recently he's called me two different female names one was his exes name, the other was some name I've never heard of. He has no sisters nor anyone he works with by that name. So I'm wondering what's going on. I asked him why he called me two different names he said it came out wrong. What do you think? In 3 years that's never happened until now.

 Is he stressed out or depressed/possibly a consideration if he is acting strangely or not remembering + calling you two different names. Perhaps a check up is in order?

 I have done that @ wrong name,it was so embarressing. So I know it doesnt automatically mean he is cheating.
I would let it drop unless there are more signs that he may be cheating, and accept it as the momentary brain slip it was!

 Well it could mean that yes, your basically asking if it could be a Freudian slip, which, of course it could be BUT it's a big leap from there to assuming he is actively cheating on you. The fact it was two different names mitigates against it meaning that actually, are you seriously suggesting he could be cheating with both an ex and another women. If you have a similar name it could be an easy mistake to make, other possibilities exist.
Has he had an recent knocks to the head, for example, if he has and is making similar slips in other contexts its not beyond the bounds of possibility that he could have slight aphasia. I really think you need to avoid racing to conclusions on this one, this is nowhere near enough to convict him of cheating on, so, unless you have other reasons to believe he might be, i'd let it slide if I was you.
