writes: Hi everyone. I posted this question earlier but there is a little more info since then.OriginalA girl at my work has been there for almost 3 years. I've been there around 5, so I've known of her since she started. I think she is really beautiful and seems nice. Apart from a few rare exceptions, we've barely spoken to one another due to our departments being so far apart. Around last year she added me on facebook and would write me there doing small talk. Despite this, in person she is either really shy or unwilling to look my way when I'm near. I'd even swear she looks away or down when I'm coming. So I end up only saying 'hi', if anything at all and do not stop to talk. However, I recently bumped into her at the mall with a mutual co-worker. We ended up getting to talk and she basically made a comment like 'all I ever get off you is a 'hi'. Then she gently teased me on other things like drinking and other non-important things. She seemed so softly spoken and I can't tell if she's trying to deflect my attention or is really shy of me. I was just being silly and light-hearted and trying to deflate any tension, as at work I can be quite busy, detached and moody. Basically, I'm focusing on the work.Does she have a crush on me, or is she just ridiculously shy of me? I'm shy, and I've known shy people but she seems extraordinarily shy if that's the reason she is awkward around me.Updatewe spoke the day after at work, and she teased me about not talking to her enough. She seemed shy but chatted away about little things. Then when we were leaving she shouted bye to me from quite a distance. She used my name a lot whilst talking.Friendly or more?Thank you all!

Hi well yes it sounds to me like she might have a little crush on you, why else would she make the effort if she didnt. If i were you i would ask her out the next time you see her and get to know each other more, goodluck.
