I have always felt that he has feelings for me but he finds it very difficult to show emotion due to personal reasons. I saw him the other week and we spent all day together. Just as we were saying goodbye we hugged for a very long time then came away slowly still holding each other and just stared into each other's eyes. I then tried leaning slightly forward and he firmed his grip on my arms so I couldn't go any further. This happened twice (second time more forcefully) So I asked him if I freaked him out and he said no and that we were all good. Can you please tell me what this means as I am so confused and can't take my mind of it. Reply to this Question Share |

He like you, but is afraid. You said he doesn't show much emotion due to personal reasons, this is part of that. However don't just sit around and let him keep you in his back pocket though.

I think this guy has feelings for you, otherwise he woulden't have hugged you for a long time, or have shared prolonged eye contact afterwoods.
You asked him if you freaked him out, and he said all is good, which by this he means he liked it, and is leaving the door open for it to happen again.
Don't rush things, as you say he is finding it difficult to express emotions due to personal reasons. Take things nice and slow and keep going the way you are going, and let things happen gradually and naturally.
Good luck x
