I think you stand a great chance since it seems to be apparent that he already likes you. Thats not a big age difference at all anyway. Plus it is quite often in high school that an older guy dates a younger girl.

Oh that's nothing to worry over. I was a sophomore dating a senior. You're both in high school and your families are friends, even better. That gives you advantage, plus the flirty comments, constant attention, and a drunken kiss. I say go for it, and bring up the topic of dating, see what he says. Or ask him out, he maybe a little shy.
