A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

hello everyone!=]

I'm currently in high school,and i'm really confused..

Last year a boy started asking me out, and it was really annoying at the time seeing as it had wound me up alot and made me really upset. People were telling me to go out with him, saying if I didn't i'd be sad and horrible. It'd really got me down, he then got bored and stopped. The main thing that really got me was that I kinda had a thrill of someone lusting after me so badly,I'd never had that before,it was such an unusual feeling.

Well anyways, a few months later he started dating one of my bestfriends Sophia, all of us felt he was only doing it because he wanted to make me jealous.It was true, Sophia was obviously to the fact he was just joking around with her only to get me jealous.It worked though, I was jealous..I had no idea why though, I should've hated him shouldn't I?

So here I am today.

Apparently he doesn't 'like' me anymore.

These past few weeks i've become really attracted to him, and it's impossible for me to ask him out after all the bad stuff i've said about him..It would make me look so bad if I asked him out.And the girl he likes is boasting to me the fact he likes her,she's extremely fake.I can't believe i've been so stupid =[

I've been casually trying to flirt with him..I can't tell if it's working though.We do muck about saying things like 'aww i love you' like friends would..But i actually do. Sounds pathetic i know +o(.He's just become alot more popular and cooler these past few months,nothing like he was when he asked me out.I'm scared to admit the fact i'm jealous of this stupid fake b**ch(she really is)..

I really need help on how to handle this situation,it'd be nice to here from someone.Has anyone else ever been in one of these situations?Please share with me =] Thank you for reading xx

JDinCali agony auntDon't pay attention to their games and don't participate in it. Just take the high road (by not being dramatic, cussing, etc.) and do what you love to do.

Look at yourself every morning and tell yourself, "You're beautiful." Seems silly, but it helps your self esteem. Walk around with your head held high, because you are who you are and that's someone that deserves to be valued, respected and loved. Who knows who you might see being aware of your surroundings. ;)

Confidence is sexy, just don't be a Diva about it.

Be well.
