You're not suppose to take it on regular basis. I dont know what the 'limit is' though. When you get the morning after pill the doctor or pharmist or whoever you see who is giving you the medication should ask whether or not you have taken it before and if so, how many times. If you have had it too many times then they would probably say so and not give you anymore I would assume. Why dont you go on the normal pill so you dont have to freak out if the condom splits?

stina agony auntHello Boo,

The morning after pill just has a higher concentration of progesterone - it's like taking multiple birth control pills at once. I don't see why this would have any long term affects on your reproductive system/ability to have children in the future. If you want to be extra careful, call up your doctor and go in for an appointment. Perhaps you'd also want to consider getting on the pill (or another form of birth control besides condoms) if this is your third time having to get emergency contraception.

Take care.

YummyMummy agony auntI would talk to your gp about this. I don't know anybody who has taken it more than once so I cannot say that it leaves any long term damages. I have only seen the side effects it gives when taken and my friend was ill for 2 days.

I should think it would still be safe. Get along to your doctor and chat it through with them. Also ask about going on the pill so you don't have to take the morning after pill so much.
