A female Czech Republic age 51-59, anonymous writes:

Although i don't want to continue my realtionship with the man i used to date last year i feel dissapointed that we haven't communication any more. I don't call him and he doesn't call me either. I think that he won't call me any more if i don't call him, something that i don't intend to do. Will i get over this feeling of dissapointment or i will continue to feel this way? Will i feel better if i call him and continue our communication as friends? Is it possible to see him as a friend anyway?

A reader, anonymous, writes (23 February 2009):

Probably better to just leave it, he's probably trying to get over you and that's very difficult to do when you're both still talking to each other and feelings are still there.

You will get over these feelings but it's likely you feel disappointed because you still have feelings for him and I think it would be better to get over those feelings first.

You will only really be able to be friends once you are both truly over your relationship. Contacting him might just make the process longer and harder to do.
