I don't call him and he doesn't call me either. I think that he won't call me any more if i don't call him, something that i don't intend to do. Will i get over this feeling of dissapointment or i will continue to feel this way? Will i feel better if i call him and continue our communication as friends? Is it possible to see him as a friend anyway?

You will get over these feelings but it's likely you feel disappointed because you still have feelings for him and I think it would be better to get over those feelings first.
You will only really be able to be friends once you are both truly over your relationship. Contacting him might just make the process longer and harder to do.
