A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Ok i was dumped by my 1st love about 2 months ago now, it was a traumatic time, expecially when we both decided we must be friends as we hang around in the same group socially. But a week ago a new interest came along, and i decided i would give him ago. Me and my new boyfriend are having a great time, but my ex's friends afre determind to ruin it, telling my new boyfriend rumours about me, and then telling the rest of the year as my new bf didn listen 2 him.

I think he's being very childish and i dont know what 2 do, even someone i thought was on my side, isnt, telling me constantly how bad i am. All because they see me as my ex's crazy gf, i wana how 1 get rid of this label!

The writer here. Thank you for taking your time to help :)

But its not as easy to just move on, i hang around in a big group, and its just 2 of them who make me feel bad, i have 1 guy who is my close boy mate, he's tried talking to them. But they think im attention seeking!

aisforacting agony auntI'd say go out with other people. Just chill. Blow those other people off.

They really shouldn't make you feel bad. If they do they aren't true friends.

And as far as rumors go, laugh them off, because you know they aren't true and thats all the matters.

Goodluck!
