writes:so me and this girl met like a month ago and for some reason we got pretty close. i have met her whole family and actually went to her dad's birthday dinner. Eventhough we do everything a real couple does we still are not going out. There is also this ex who she broke up with like a year ago and had no contact who she told me she still love. However, recently after i have known her he started to contact her again and i can see that she really is into him. I know there is nothing i can really do to make her forget about him but i just need some feed back on what should i do? i just need help. thanks

reader, anonymous, writes (22 April 2011): Hi there,This is my first problem i am solving so you may not agree with me, and i am really sorry if i am unable to give you proper advice.Now, its your responsibility that you make her realize that you are the man that will be with her when she is sad and when she needs someone to trust you are the one she seeks for. Also try to make her believe that you are better than her ex. he left her when she needed him and you were there, not him. She cant just get back with him he might be betraying her. You need to help her get away from her ex. This might help or it might not, but this was advice i would of given anyone in that situation.Sorry if it goes wrong.
