I don't agree that if you were pregnant you would already be feeling nauseous and tired. My first pregnancy I didn't find out I was pregnant until four months, due to seven day a week training and no bump/no symptoms. I found out when I went for a smear test!My second pregnancy I had mild nausea from about week 8. Both resulted in healthy babies. My third pregnancy, I was ill almost from week 1. I miscarried at nearly 12 weeks (excrutiating pain) and yes, I did have to go and have a scan to check it was a complete miscarriage (you would need a D and C if only a partial passing). So, very different pregnancies, all three were and felt different. What you experienced, I think, may or may not have been the start of a baby and if that is the case, then I am sorry for your loss :-(I have also had 'clumpy' heavy periods, particularly in my late teens. I don't know why, just one of those things?I would tend to say that you need to try again. Whatever it was is not now and you can only look forward to the baby you will eventually hold in your arms.

It was probably a nasty hemorrhage. I got it too the last time. It was red-black-ish. But just to make sure everything's fine, go see a doctor.

The experience you described though is pretty common and sounds pretty similar to experiences I've heard from my mom, my sister, and a couple roomates. A good share of conceived fetuses are naturally aborted pretty early on:

I don't think a spontaneous abortion this early on has anything to do with your ability to conceive in the long term though. Talk to your doctor to be sure.
Good luck.

TBH as a pregnancy and birth professional, I dont think that this was a misscarriage.
If you were prgnant, it would have been at such an early stage that the pregnancy would only be viable because of a matter of microscopic cells stuck to your uterus.
This passes as just a heavy period. It does happen, we go for years with the same period every month then we get a very light one or a very heavy painful one. This is especially normal with someone of your age, as you're not fully matured yet and your hormones have yet to settle down.
Hope this helps
