writes: I last had my period on Oct. 6. My boyfriend and I played around on October 12 and November 11. There's no penetration involved but his genital touched mine. I'm still a virgin. It's November 15 now and I should have had my period on November 8-10. I'm really worried that I might be pregnant. I can't focus on my work because of this thought. I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it resulted to negative. I've been researching for signs of pregnancy and I am not experiencing any of those signs. Though I get headaches but I think it's because of my glasses' grade needs to be adjusted. Also my throat feels sore and I think I have slight fever. But I'm not sure. Please help. I'm 21 and I don't want to have a child yet."

My boobs were the first thing, they felt tender and uncomfortable right from the start. Then i started to go off the smell of things, like coffee and baked beans. I have had three kids and the same thing happened each time. When if smelt the coffee i knew straight away. You need to wait until your next period is due and then go along to your doctors and explain all of this to them, dont worry you stuff is all kept private and confidential. You could be worrying which may be holding the period back. Our bodies are strange and complex.
take care

Hi,
I'd say no your not pregnant, i have never heard of someone getting pregnant without actually having sex, it is quite normal to have a cycle change but your period is most likely late because you are fretting over this, periods can go all messed up when we worry, change diet or a general life change, you said you have done a pregnancy test and it came back negative so your not pregnant, stop panicing and go and have some fun your body will soon get back to normal.
However if your still woried go and visit the doctor.
Good luck

HI PARANOID. Firstly, if you didnt actually have sex, it unlikely you will be pregnant. your period could be late or missed compleatly for many reasons, first the most obvious is because your poorly, then there is the fact you have been worrying about it, the stresslone is enough to mess up your cycle, there are a lot of other factors too.
Wait another week and if nothing happens you can either take another pregnancy test or go and see your doctor. he will give you a pregnancy test and allieviate any fears you may have and also answe your questions. he may even discuss with you safe sex paractices and some docs even give out free condoms. Also he will be able to help if you havefears of STI's, he can give you tests etc, as some sti's can cause your cycle to go haywire too.
Sex without protection of somesort is always a big no no unless you are trying to get pregnant, even if you dont go all the way. STI's are around and can be transfered even without penetration. get him to wear a condom next time.
Looking forward to your follow up.
