writes: Hi everyone,As you may have noticed from my avatar, I've cut my hair! It's a dramatic change (I used to have an Afro, in case you didn't know) and I'm hoping it brings me good things in the future. I'm off of uni for the next couple of weeks, so I'm going to try to be as healthy as I can and hopefully lose a little weight (not that I desperately need to), and when I get back to Bournemouth with my short hair and better physique, I'm hope there will be nothing stopping me from meeting more women than I have done recently... or, so far this year! It's been about 4 months that I've been single now, and all the usual withdrawal symptoms I usually feel have started to kick in (more so since I found out that my former girlfriend has started dating a new guy). I'm sick to death of feeling like I'm the only guy in the world who can't get a girl. I can't see any reason for it and I want things to change... I guess that's partly why I changed my appearance.I hope this was a good idea, but I also hope that I'm not expecting TOO much from changing my looks. Can anyone give me some advice. Try enjoying being on your own and being single for awhile, Andy, it has it's advanatages. Play the field and don't settle for just any girl. Make sure she is worthy of you and that she really cares for you too, before you go all puppy dog on her...lol. You'll be fine, you are a nice guy and nice guys are hard to find these days.

You mention the new haircut, but also say you have lost a few pounds - that will help too. Your letter suggest that you have a new confidence after the breakup, and I hope that results in some success with the ladies. Good luck!
