Hiya This is probably the wrong forum... but...

I'm 13 years old and 5 ft 6. I'm a dress size 8-10 and have size 7 feet. I recently was a bridesmaid at a wedding, and since the wedding photos were published loads of people have told me I should be a model. This is something which I'd love. But with a 32D bust, and quite a curvy but slim figure is there any point in trying to sign up with a modeling agency?

bridget agony auntIm glad that you now have that opinion you dont need Donatello Versace or Jean Paul Gaultier to show that you are beautiful..

Primark and Top Shop are just as good!!

Im glad that you are sensible enough and a strong wildered person to be able to see through all of the media influneces...

Being a sufferer of Anorexia I would be confident in saying that you are a role model for most (if not all) young girls..

Hiya. My measurements before were wrong.

I am 33-27-32. My mam says that if I watch what I eat and do more excersise I should be able to lose a few inches. But I've still got to work on my height. However, I recently watched a documentry about models, and I'm kind of realising that my desire to be one is just for the recognition or assurance that people think I'm pretty or beautiful, I now realise that I am an insecure person and I think I believed that if I became a model, and was paid for something I feel quite nervous about, I would feel so much more confident. But when the boy that I like told me that I was absolutely stunning, and that being a model is a competitive business that would do nothing but increase my insecurities, I decided that I'm happy just being a normal teen, hopelessly in love and forever being told that I am beautiful.

I'v ebeen told this #'s of times. A lot of the time it's from guys that are horney and what not. I say don't, women have got to relize that part of the reason we are being paid 70% of what men are is because we don't stand up for what is right. If you become amodel yah you'll be famous but is that what matters the most over a collage education?

Hiya. I've taken your advice thanks and signed up for the gym and am now watching what I'm eating much more, but I was recently measured and I am a 40- 34- 42! Now this could be wrong as I did it myself so... but is there anyway, apart from dieting to trim down your measurements, because I love my big bust and don't really want to lose it!?

hi :D

im doing modelling and i lovemy work but i also go to school and have a part time job, because in this line of work you have to be realistic and not very many people get into it for life! im sure you would be a beautiful model, but they will certainly ask yo uto slim down to at least a solid size 8. wait until you are a bit older, and more solid into your school year until you start, but for the moment you can look around at what people want :)

goodluck

and dont forget to keep your confidence right up there, because if you dont have confidence you will never make it in this game

willywombat agony auntUnless you shoot up another 3 inches you are not going to make it as a runway/fashion model. Very few girls are thin or tall enough for this.

With your figure and being so busty the options open for you at present would be glamour work and to be honest you are far to young for that.

It is all well and googd ahving a dream but concentrate on your schoolwork then if your dream does NOT come true you have something to fall back on whilst you find another dream!

bridget agony auntHey there..

You should try it and see what happens, you never know..

Just try and be yourself model agencies look for that more than anything and lots of confidence thrown into your work helps too...

Everyone is made different but come together all the same..

Good Luck

Being a model seems like a glamorous lifestyle but it's not all that great. You're in constant demand to maintain your look and figure. And if you're a size 8-10 they will definitely ask you to loose weight! Your size is healthy and I'm sure you look great, but the "look" requires extra-thin girls. But just for the hell of it you should go to a model agency and see what they tell you. Maybe you will like the model-life. Good luck.

I am not trying to dampen your ego but I was repeatedly told this when I was about your age. I went to a model agency and (I am amused by it now), was told I would be no good for close up work!

The opions of friends and family were of course, just amateur opinion but well meaning. having said that, you never know, you may be the next Kate Moss!
