writes: ive been kicked out of uni for not dedicating my self properly-theres no chance of me getting back in-all this is due to personal health reasons which i have seen a docter about. For the last fornight since i found out- i have not slept or ate properly-i feel sick to the stomach bcuz i have let my family down and i dont know how to break the news to my family. i also feel that my gf bad grades are my fault-any chance of me and her getting engaged are put on hold because she needs to get her grades up-please advise me-i feeeel so pathetic and lost-i see no future-why did i have to mess it all up for myself.God blessM.T.S

Well if it was health reasons then they should just have let you take a year off. I very much doubt they would just kick you out without cause and refuse to let you try again.
Go back and talk to them and give them a doctors note. Be honest about what went wrong. They may let you restart your course even if it is from first year again.
I feel there is more that you are not telling us here. If it was simply that you were ill and could not get the work done then why did your girlfriend's work suffer?
Talk to them and talk to Conexions about your options of starting again and this time, hit the books and work hard!
