writes:okay, so my best friend and her parents are going to florida next year, june and they have invited me, well who wouldnt jump at the chance to go to florida?! i was well exited! even though its still seven months away im still really really exited! but the thing is, were goin on the 20th for two weeks and i come on on the 19 of every month without fail! which means i will have my period on the day we fly and for like 6 days of the holiday! we have tickets for all the water theme parks and everything! exept i wont be able to go on any of them, but i dont wanna tell my best friends mum cause its embarrassing! we have a via with a private pool, but i wont be able to go in it for the first week! is there any ways you can stop your period for a month?! what can i do???

 I say pill! Its a genius little invention and i swear by it saved my holiday to egypt! See your doctor about getting put on something, :) and talk to you mum about it first so she doesnt freak out thinkin your up to stuff, (my friends mum did that!)
Oh and another thing enjoy your trip!

I Dont think wearing a tampon is a very good idea if you're gonna be heavy. i tryed it once in spain, and i leaked when i got out the pool.
Try getting those tablets, they will stop your period completly, until your next period.

Two things, one is use tampons. Then no one will know youre on your period, youc an wear a bikini and go swimming etc etc without a problem.
The second thing is you can talk to your doctor about going on the pill, which will let you manipulate your periods. But talk to your doctor sooner rather than later, because it can take up to 4 or 5 months to find a pill you like and that doesnt make you bleed at funny times!
