I don't like her as anything more then I friend but I want to kiss her and have sex with her but I don't want a realtionship.... and I don't know if I should tell her my feelings because it might hurt our realtionship....should I tell her or should I try and make the feelings go away....

reader, anonymous, writes (14 August 2008): It is pretty normal to question yourself around your age, I think it happens to everyone at some point really. I think you should leave it a few more months, and the feelings that you have now will probably disappear. If not and you develop actual feelings for her too after a few months you may want to think about telling her, but it's not a good idea to ruin a friendship because of a crush.

 do you know what your sexual orientation is? you didn't say... it might just be that you are becoming bi-curious like most teenagers do at one point or another. since she is your closest friend and i bet you both care a lot about each other, maybe she is just the one that naturally pops into your head.
i wouldn't necessarily tell her in that case, if you both think you are straight. it might make her feel weird and want to distance herself. she might not know how to handle it, especially since she probably has never had anything like this happen to her before as the two of you are so young.
do you know what her sexual orientation is? that could make all the difference.
if you aren't straight, and she knows, i don't know. telling her would be your decision, no matter what she is.
