writes:Me and my ex broke up one week ago and I still havent heard from her at all. I miss her so much and dont know what to think about it. I leave for school today an hour away from where she lives, my small home town. Im going to wait a week more or two until I try and contact her. She was indeed my everything. It was two years of happiness. We have been off and on this whole time, but we always end up back together. Its been one week and I have heard nothing. She deleted her Facebook and even her friends have texted me asking what happened because they havent heard from her. What is going on and should I make first contact?Also I watched Garden State this morning, one of my favorite movies so that may be why im feeling this way haha. Thanks so much.

reader, anonymous, writes (21 March 2011): Talking from experience I say remain in NC. Trust me I've been in your situation a year ago and felt the urge to contact her. Was it she who broke up with you? I assume it was but just whatever you do don't contact her. It takes about a month or week 4 for her to truly start to miss you and it's most likely around then that she'll contact you if anything. For now just seek comfort from friends, family, and loved ones and do new things with your life. You'll be alright pal, there's no guarantee you'll get back with her but don't listen to people when they tell you there's no chance you will cause there is. My ex came back after 3 months of not talking to each other and we've been together ever since which is 9 months now. We're in a different difficult situation as of now however. It''ll be fine just remain in NC. Best of luck.

I think if u do miss her that much u should call her and talk. Why would u wait for her? A girl likes it when a man takes control of the relationship sometimes to. I don't know why u guys broke up but if it is because of something u did please make sure u aplogize.
