It's been 7 months and I'm not fully over her. What can I do to keep moving forward?

Still not over her.

We're now over 7 months since my ex left me, and it seems I just can't fully get over her. I felt like I was getting there a very short time ago, but for whatever reason, I just can't get over her. I loved her so much, and was so devastated when she left. I just want to keep moving forward and don't want to look back, because there's just too much hurt.

I'm able to do things now that I couldn't do before, for example, last week I deleted all her old text messages of love I saved on my mobile phone. I could never have done that a few months back.

Please, what can I do to keep moving forward? I feel like I'm starting to bend backwards and it's something I really don't want to do, for the sake of my mind! Help me if you can.

AuntieAmber agony auntHi,

Many people have been in this position, including myself, all i can really say is,,,be patient, and time will heal things, you just have to keep busy, meet new people, meet new women, you dont have to fall in love, but just have fun,and try and forget your ex,or try and become friends with her again,if she doesnt want to,then leave it for a while.good luck,
