Ok so there is this ticklish legal issue here you are not allowed to have certain relationships across the 18 year old line. Aside from that there is no real concrete limit. I would say that a percentage of your age should be a guide line. Say 25% so at 20 you could date from 18 to 25. or at 30 date from 22 to 38. But that system would break down eventually to. At some point the age difference becomes so great that our experiences and world view conflict so much that it is hard to have a conversation. So that is something to consider too. It is very common for girls in the 14 -18 range to want to date older men. This is because they believe (erroneously) that they are very much more mature than the boys their age. As a result older men who want to feel young prey on, or are preyed on by, them. I hope that sheds a bit of light on the subject.FA
