 Have you asked him why you are only talking through social networks now? That would be the first thing you should do, communicate and try to find out why this has happened. If all he ever says is that he's too busy then let him know this isn't enough for you and you feel he has lost interest so you are breaking up. It's all you can do. He may try to fight for you or more likely he will let you go, but he seems to be cowardly and wanting you to end it rather than him.

reader, anonymous, writes (27 January 2013): It seem's like his feelings have changed for you but he should have told you this and he probably hasn't because is either too scared or bevause he likes knowing that your there waiting for him so you should not let him treat you like this and you should dump him.
