It seems like he's just lost interest so should I just let him go?

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I'm a bit confused with dating. I started seeing this guy and we went out on a few dates and we used to talk almost everyday and on the second date he told me that he told a girl who tried to ask him out that he was already seeing someone, that is me. I was quite surprised when he told me this so I just sort of brushed it off. After we made plans to hang out again but both of us were busy, and now when i try to talk to him he tends to keep the conversation short. He recently started talking to me again just asking how i was, but again didn't bother to carry on conversation for long. I'm so confused. Does he like me or not? Is he just waiting for me to ask him out again or something? So far it seems like he's just lost interest so should I just let him go?

If he can stare into your eyes, even across a room for 6 seconds or more, he definitely likes you. It's been tried tested and apparently it's as good as a polygraph.
