About a year ago, I began to notice that it was getting difficult to shoot. At first it was no great drama, I leave it for a day or two and it's good again. However it has got worse and worse, and now I can't ever shoot. Last time was about 3 months ago. My hard on is good, but I can jerk it until my hand falls off and nothing happens. I don't have any hang ups or mental problems. I have this gut feeling that it has to do with my prostate gland, but find little info on the net, and also I wonder if a prostate problem can stop me from coming. I spoke to a doctor about it a coupe of months ago, but she was a woman and didn't really seem interested in my problem. For some time now I piss a lot, and also when I get up in the night and first thing in the morning, it's difficult to empty my bladder completely and the piss is slow to come out of me. This leads me to believe I have some prostate problem, but can this also stop me from coming? I'm grateful for any help or suggestions.

I went back to the doctors practise and managed to speak with a male doctor. He had a feel, and says my prostate is a ''little bigger'' than normal, and has made an appoinment for me at the hospital to see a specialist. I have to wait about six weeks. Thanks again.

Yes, see a urologist. You may have benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) or prostatic enlargement. This can cause problems with urination and ejaculation. Sometimes there is retrograde ejaculation, that is, you ejaculate but the semen, not able to pass through the enlarged prostate, goes back up into the bladder. Check the internet again for benign prostatic hypertrophy. A urologist should be able to help you. Gooc luck

Guys can have prostate infections for more than a couple years without knowing it, and the symptom is the pissing thing that you have. That's the first thing to weed out, and hopefully it works. Also, the piss problem could in turn be contributing to the ejaculation problem, since it's very difficult for many men to reach that great climactic moment, with the feeling of having to piss lingering. Until you get the urination problem resolved, try making sure you don't go into a situation where you will be ejaculating unless you have tried to pee first. Also, don't be aggressive to try to reach the finish, which I realize is hard to do, with the strain of having to piss all day long aggravating you, but just take it slow and more tantric. Good luck first of all with curing the pee problem. It could be many things from urinary tract infection to enlarged prostate, but it's most likely a long term prostate infection which is easily cured with pills nowadays.

My recommendation is to see a male physician right away, perhaps a specialist. Yes, I've heard it's common that prostate problems can greatly affect ejaculation as well as urination. Can also be serious.
