Oh yes, he's a player all right. Sex after three weeks isn't actually the part of this post the bothers me - it's the fact that when you said you weren't ready and wanted him to wait, he asked for an open relationship.
I think that you should just avoid him to be honest. He's clearly only interested in getting into your pants.
