Get a 2nd opinion NOW.

If it's cancer every day wasted b4 cutting it out is another day when it could spread.

It needs x ray minimum and maybe biopsy as well.

See a 2nd doctor immediately.

Artistry agony auntHi again, The main thing is you went to see a doctor. Use the medicine he gave you and wait to see what happens. One thing if you decide on surgery if it does not go away please get a second opinion before you proceed. Always good to do, if surgery is needed I would want two doctors to agree. Don't fret over something that may not have to happen. Wait and see, as I said it may disappear. Drink lots of hot water and eat some bananas to help your loss of potassium, or take a half of a potassium pill every now and then. Drinking the hot water helps to rid your body of toxins. Take care and good luck.

It's worth going to your doctor to get it checked.

Artistry agony auntHi, It could be some kind of hernia which can be dealt with by a doctor or they may just let it disappear on its own. I doubt that it is cancer. I once had a type of soft dent on a part of my body, I was in the hospital at the time when I asked a doctor to tell me what it was, whatever it was he said to just leave it alone. It disappeared on its own, which may be what your knot will probably do. But get to a doctor, you need to know what you are dealing with. Take care. Let us know what they said. Thanks.

Don't waste a MINUTE more time : of course it could be cancer so you need to see a doctor IMMEDIATELY who will refer you for biopsy / x-rays / whatever .

If it is cancer it can be treated but the longer you leave it the greater the likelihood it will spread outside the original site and make treatment more problematic.

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by seeing a doctor and asking for urgent diagnostic tests THIS MINUTE.

I do mean THIS MINUTE.

Good luck but don't delay till you read other replies : what possible harm can come from acting immediately ? compared to the harm which might follow further delay ??

tennisstar88 agony auntIt could be a knot in your arm, the only way to know certain is to consult your doctor. Don't jump to conclusions assuming it's a tumor. Make an appointment to see your doctor he/she will give you the correct answer.
