writes: i have been with my girlfriend for 6 years. 2 years ago we had broken up for a whole year, cause "I" didn`t make her happy and she had found someone who did. after a few months she left this other person. then tried very hard to be with me again. i reluctantly agreed, for the simple fact it is easier on our son who is now 5. the last year has had many ups and downs for me, for the simple fact that i feel if i give 100% like i did she will probably leave again, i`m not sure if thats how i should act, it doesnt feel like i`m in a relationship just feels like she lives with me.i`ve talked to her but all shes says is she loves me, we don`t and haven`t for a long time been phsyica. just some opinions would be great.i want to leave my current town and start fresh, but i don`t know if taking her will be a positive decision.... thanku Reply to this Question Share |

How about the two of you go to counseling to see if you can work out your differences. I think that really helps when you are stuck in a rut.

You should talk to her and tell her you want to move away and would like to take her and your son with you and ask what she thinks.
If she says no then -even if it hurts - you should do what you want.
