Is this wrong? That I asked her for a kiss?

A male Australia age 36-40, anonymous writes:

If you ask a girl if you could kiss her and see where it'd would go. Is that rude? I thought this girl was going to end up giving me another chance to be with her.. So when I dropped her home.. I gave her a hug, and very gentleman like, grabbed for her chin slowly, and said "i just want to try this once."

And she gave me the cheek instead. But she also said a very mean "nooo." and i didnt say anything after that when I dropped her home.

I was surprised that she didn't even want that and I haven't talked to her for almost a week now.

What am I supposed to say to her now? I really want another chance with her. Cuz I know I messed up when I didn't kiss her in the first place last semester when we were hanging out.

this hurts so much. does no really mean no? what should i say to her? im so embarrassed.

doom agony auntWell it's true if she says to you no, and gives the cheek that may seem that you are in the friends zone, but that can also say i just want to know you better. You know not every women kisses and has sex first date.Try to call her, have another date, or just a simple cofee drink in town. And when you are together you'll see how she feels about you.don't worry. It would be worse if she says no to your new idea)) hope it works, and do'nt forget: women like confident guys!!!! dont' screw it up!!!

"I'm just going to try this." sounds like you were just going for it for the hell of it.

But to be honest, I think your main problem is that you have entered the friend zone.

You haven't told her how you felt so now she just sees you as a friend.

You just have to face the music and actually tell her how you feel. Tell her you are sorry for making her feel awkward but you really like her and want to be with her.

If she says no then you'll just have to back off and try and get over her.

Good Luck!! xx
