I occasionally delete retrospectively (i.e. after publication).
We have a very small handful of people who have little more to do with their life than post fake questions (usually along very similar lines)... we keep blocking them but they usually find ways around.
It's a very manageable problem.

Moderators read the questions posted on this website and use their own judgement about whether to allow each question to go on the website. Of course there will be individual differences in how moderators judge questions. However, some questions that are posted will be removed by the website manager as they may contain inappropriate material.
