He mentioned a while back that his X told him that their dad had been doing weird things. Like one day she woke up(after falling asleep in her parents bed with them.) with his hand down her pants. The mother was right there and didn't see anything. But after this incident she still slept in the same bed as him. And she is very playful/flirty with her dad. Getting into tickle fights and such. She admitted she has never been touched by him besides the sleeping accident. She acts really weird around him though. Is it normal for a 22 year old to be acting this way around her dad? And could this explain her weird attachment to her brother? Reply to this Question Share |

She didn't react normally. The mom is in the medical field with a degree in psychology. Despite this incident x still flirted and tickled and slept in bed with them. At 22. She said it had never happened before. She acted no different towards him. But she did tell her brother She wanted to sleep in his room in his bed while he took the floor. Her mom searched her diary for any mention of this and all she found was how x thought her dad was super amazing and that he was the reason for her wanting to b a nurse. That and all her personality problems stem from her mom not loving her enough as a kid. But x still does things like completely change in the car while sitting right next to her brother and dad. Her attachment to her brother is really odd to. She refuses to make any friends and hates that he does. She's got that Flirty poking thing going with him. He always thought it was harmless until some of our classmates pointed out it looked like she had a thing for him. I Don't know If she made up the story to get her brother to play the protective part and let her sleep in his bed or what. But I was wondering if this poking/tickling thing was normal for her to do with her brother and dad at her age.

No it is not normal.
It's called molestation and she has probably been molested her entire life without anyone else knowing about it.
She needs professional mental help and her father should be locked up. How the hell did her mother miss her husband's hand down her daughter's pants? What age was she sleeping in their bed? And no, playful flirting with your dad at any age isn't normal.
