Question - (12 October 2011) 2 Answers - (Newest, 12 October 2011)
A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

when a man and a woman who know each other for many yrs and rarely talk, when the have a nervous conversation, could this be evidence of palpable emotions? the man would ask the woman "how are you?" the woman would say "i am ok under the circumstances". the moment she says that, he repeats what she says in a low tone while busy with something. he was not really doing anything. he was listening at first. as the conversation went on, he was fumbling around. when he is talking to her, he has a fixed grin.
