Is moving out of your bf/gf's house the same as a failed proposal?

I've been with my ex for 3 years (on/off), we move in together for 5 months and we split. I have a feeling he wants to get back together with me, but not live together. I feel kinda hurt and kinda like it was a failed proposal, things just aren't the same after that...Opinions please.

Move on. Look at the facts. You've been on/off over three years, and now you've split again. I think the best thing you can do is move on from now.
