Discharge is just your body's way of keeping clean (unless it's thick, yellow and smells.) But I'm 18 and have been having discharge every day since I was about 13. If you wanna make your periods more regular then book an appointment with your sexual health nurse and she'll discuss going on the pill with you. The combined pill makes your periods regular, shorter and lighter =]

Don't worry. The yellow and/or white discharge is 100% normal. I had the same worries you did. I also had that stuff in my underwear :P. A asked my friend and she has the same. So does my mom. You should talk to your mom about it if you're unsure. It may seem akward, but if you wanna be safe when you're unsure about something you're going through as a teen, just ask. Hope my story worries you less(:

No that's perfectly normal. If there's a lot of it you can wear thin pantyliners to keep from feeling gross. It's only abnormal if it smells very bad, the area feels itchy and/or burns, or the discharge is a strange color or texture (cottage cheesy, is green or BRIGHT yellow). Discharge will change periodically depending on your cycle. It's a normal and slightly gross part about being a woman. The good thing about it is that your vagina is cleaning itself! It's a very clean organ!
