writes:can someone give me advice? a girl that i have been trying to get wit finally gave me her cell #. we would talk every now and then on the computer and her house phone, but the other nite she called me back from her cell phone and told me that she did want me to have it! well i was a little confused about her signals, so i asked one of our mutual friends to feel her out for me on how is she feeling about me. well today our friend told me that she had said that she just dont know bc i used to be wit one of her friends! the thing is that they r not really close friends; they just talk wen they see each other and she is friends wit my Xs sister. and she told our friend that she never dates someone that was wit one of her friends; however, she said that she enjoys hanging out wit me and coming play basketball wit me, so my question is do u think there is a possibility of us ever dating? i would like some advice on how to get her to not worry about that, bc me and my X is still on good terms, but we both agree that we are not met for each other so y do u think this girl does not give it a chance? reader, anonymous, writes (21 December 2008): Play it slow buddy. If she likes hanging out with you, then hang out with her. But, don't push it. In fact, the less interested you seem in a relationship, the more likely she'll pursue you.
