I used to be like Anonymous below.

I had never experienced love at first sight. I tended towards knowing someone a while before falling for them. In fact my first girlfriend I had known 4 years before we started going out and my second girlfriend I had known for just over 2 years before getting together with her. I believed this to be the best and only logical way to get to know someone and to be able to be with someone. To know them before the feelings started getting involved.

However, about a year ago I experienced love at first sight for the first time and I can tell you, wow!

It's an amazing feeling, a very rare occurrence so far as I know, but I finally just knew what people talked about "you just know". That's what happened to me, I just knew. And in full honesty, I had been in her company for a mere few hours when we were both smitten with each other and looking back on it out of all the people I have been with in the past she is the one most compatible with me and the only one I have ever truly loved unconditionally.

So yes, there is true love and there is love at first sight. But I believe that, perhaps, love at first sight is a two way street.

My answer to the first question is that whilst it's never happened to me many people have claimed to have fallen in love at first sight. I think that it is better to have known the person before falling in love rather than just seeing them and falling in love, after all, they might end up turning out to be a killer or something.

As for your second question two people at those ages can be together as long as they don't have sex.

Hope i've helped.

nologo agony auntThe decision to ask users their age at registering caused more problems than expected.

First, some users when asking heavier questions are forced to pretend they are older.

Second, some users when asking lighter questions are forced to pretend they are younger.

Is there such a thing as "Love at first sight?"

so-n-love agony auntyes there is love at first sight at, least i believe so. I don't think there is anything wrong with a 13 and a 16 year old being together. Age isn't anything but a number.
