A female United Kingdom age 36-40, *oconips writes:

So theres this guy i like, we were great friends for a long time, he was always shouting me sitting with me, i honestly thought he liked me. Then one day his friend told him that i liked him, and ever since he's been ignoring me, and he totally overreacted about the whole thing, but now he keeps staring at me, and when we pass each other in the hall we look each other dead in the eye.

Am i reading too much into it, or is their something there?

I hope you smile when he looks you in the eye. Winking occassionally also would be good.

kenny agony auntThere could be something there, he could just be shy now that he knows you like him through this guy telling him. The direct eye contact in the hallway is another positive sign he likes you. I feel if he did not he would do his best not to look at you atal. At the end of the day the only way you are going to know for sure is to ask him outright how he feels. At least this way you will find out for sure and you will know where you stand.

All the best x
