A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Im currently single and I really never had female friends so I hang out with guys, I get hit on by guys and shame on me I do love to tease. But I realize Im wrong so how do I change it now and convince him I am not this wild child. We still never went out on a date because I feel that he might be thinking we will have sex and I do not want to have sex. Can you tell me?

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (12 October 2009):

You just have to talk to him and get to know him. Take him aside and tell him that you like him. If he's interested, explain to him tha you'd like to take it slow. If he's a good guy, he'll listen and understand.
