Is there hope for me to finally recover from this heartbreak?

A female United States age , anonymous writes:

I have not heard from a former lover who is married and i emailed to let them know i apologize for our break up. I finally came to a conclusion that this person has moved on and i am going to not deal with this again. I am involving myself in other activities and if this person trys to contact me through email or phone i will ignore this. I am going to work out things with my boyfriend i've been with for a while and never get myself in a relationship like that again. It is too painful. I still think about this other person, but is it still worth it. I am just going to go through more pain. Is there hope for me to finally recover from this heartbreak.

Yes, they have moved on. You have the right direction now. Dont run all the scenarios through your head, your not doing yourself any favours. Just keep busy and give yourself time. Look to the future and not the past. Good luck.
