Home pregnancy tests is a first option to do to confirm.

Still having doubts, visit the family doctor.

Discover you are pregnant and don't want to be, talk to the doctor and let him/her know and she/he will be able to direct you to the best option(s) for you.

You need to talk to a doctor about this.

[following advice applies more to UK people]

There is the emergency contraceptive pill that you can take within 72 hours. It's not really a contraceptive, it is more a form of abortion.

There is also an abortion pill that is quite new. You can take it up to 9 weeks in to pregnancy. One pill is placed in the vagina, the other is swallowed. Termination occurs in a few hours. A visit to the hospital or clinic is also required. This pill is not usually available on the NHS, you can pay for it in a private clinic, it's a few hundred pounds I believe. [but might be wrong it's been about a year since I had this information]

Speak to your doctor if you want medical advice.

stina agony auntDepending on how far along you are, there are pills you can take (the morning after pill that are to be taken w/in the first 72 hours of intercourse, etc). Contact your ob/gyn to find out more options. You could also call up the clinic if you don't have a doctor and see if they can answer any of your questions over the phone about alternative methods.

Yos agony auntNo it is the only way, after the first few days at least.

But if you are not sure you are pregnant, the first thing to do is to go and buy a home pregnancy test and find out. Once you are sure you can decide what to do.
