"to even out both necks" . . . how many necks do you have? LOL.
I remember reading a similar letter a little while ago. I assume you are the same person that wrote that letter. I think the advice back then was to see a doctor. They'll be able to tell whether it is a cyst or not.
I've had cysts removed and it's not a big deal. I've also had half of my thyroid removed because of a cyst inside my thyroid. It was a bigger deal because of the nature of the surgery. I'm still walking, talking, and breathing. LOL.
Instead of worrying about it, do something about it! See a doctor!
Good luck!

Cysts can be surgically drained and removed in most cases but you'd have to speak to your doctor about it to be sure. The problem with neck cysts is that theyre close to the carotid artery (the one that supplies blood to your brain) so you have to be extra cautious. A doctor can give you better advice on this.

Hi Anon,
Like Willy said, you need to make an appointment with your doctor. Only he/she will be able to tell you what needs and can be done for your specific problem.
Take care.

Are you the same anon that posted a while back saying one side of his shoulder/neck is larger than the other, and that his family couldn't see anything?
If you are truly concerned about this you need to go to your GP. You cannot access medical services without a diagnosis and referral from the GP. Please go and see somebody if you are worried about this.
